A lovely hotel with lovely touches and a great vibe. The hotel has been modernised in a basic fashion which really works. The room with the fjord was fabulous. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, the croissants were delicious but the best was swimming in the fjord just across the garden.

Everything! This was the most delightful place to stay - a guesthouse in the real sense of the word where Paolo and Gullveig have created a warm and hospitable home away from home. They are the most friendly and welcoming of hosts with so much travel experience of their own that conversation is lively and so interesting. They know the area well and can advise on all there is to do. The view is beautiful across the fjord and there is always something going on with the ferries right outside - lively but never intrusive. The rooms are simply furnished but comfortable and warm - great shower and really good beds! We can recommend this place with no hesitation. Anne & Mike

I think it is one of the best apartments we have ever stayed. Very spacious with really well thought layout. View of the fjord from large well equipped balcony to spend the evening on. Despite next to harbour absolutely quiet. We only wished we stayed longer as area is phenomenal
