First about hospitality ... It was our first time in Norway and as our plane was delayed we arrived very late in the evening; though Bridget (our host) was waiting for us in the door. The property proved to be ideal for starting our exploration in the land of fjords and glaciers. Furthermore Bridget told us all relevant information about places to visit so, basing our schedule on this, we succeeded to see lots of interesting and marvelous places during our short stay. The room, though not large, was cosy and comfortable. Breakfast, served in a large and nice kitchen, was varied, based on local products and very tasty. We could park our car just across the street which made it very easy to start over next morning. We got the feeling of living in a real Norwegian home.

When we were going to Norway, this is exactly how we imagined the perfect place for a night or a few days. A beautifully situated house, it is true that you have to go down the wooden stairs, but it's really worth it. The house itself (located right on the shore of the fjord) is large, new, well-equipped, but the most important thing you can see when you go out to the terrace - breathtaking views of the fjord and the surrounding mountains, silence, space, just perfect. Morning coffee doesn't taste so good anywhere else. There is great contact with the owner, he immediately responds to messages or the phone, he is helpful and very nice. We will definitely come back.
