Great location for hikes to the glaciers and very quiet surroundings. Great appartment, very clean and well looked after. Owners are very friendly and helpful people. It was only for one night but we really enjoyed it!

Absolutely everything about our visit here was perfect in every way. It's an utterly stunning setting within walking or short driving distance of the most gorgeous overlook for a dramatic glacier/waterfall/creek .. We were lucky enough to catch the glacier calving twice in our brief visit which is always super cool to experience. The accommodation itself is incredibly charming and beautifully maintained on a sweet little farm style homestead that has been in the same family for centuries.. They have done an extraordinary job at renovating it to where it is modern and comfortable, yet retains all of the historic charm and architecture as well, which is not an easy balance to attain. The family that runs it (mother/father/son and even grandma who bakes homemade yummies for breakfast) are the nicest, warmest people .. They offer a dinner option which I highly recommend opting into that is served family style in the dining room and was wonderful .. Absolutely loved our visit and can't recommend it enough .. There's also a glacier museum about a ten minute drive away that is worth a stop on the front or back side if you are so inclined .. Definitely don't hesitate to book here as it was one of our favorite accommodations in our 2.5 week road trip through Norway and that's saying a lot since Norway overall has some really awesome options accommodation wise and value for dollar at this one is extremely high as well. 🥰😍

Could not recommend enough. Was here 9 years ago, came back, and will come back again. A magical place to stay at - I recommend to choose the cottage with shared bathroom. It has the most amazing view and the shared bathrooms are very private and clean. Has all the facilities you need. A nice place to swim nearby - and they offer water sport equipment rent.

Really nice house with a stunning view. We stayed here during Christmas and New Year’s Eve and had a lot of snow, which created a very nice atmosphere. The house is quite new and was really clean. Contact with the owner was pleasant and they responded very quickly. The ski resort was also a pleasant surprise, both for beginners and advanced skiers.
