Stayed on our way home for Christmas, and the entire hotel was packed with Christmas decorations. It was snowing and the atmosphere was just amazing. There was only 2 guests in the entire hotel, so we felt like we got more of a VIP treatment as well. Food was really good too. Our car had snowed in during the night, but woke up to a tractor making the way for us, without us asking. Just a perfect stay. Can recommend!

I can absolutely recommend choosing this motel for any stay, but especially long-term. The way these cottages are in a perfect condition (built in 1969) really makes you feel like you traveled in time, because although everything's obviously old-style, it's perfectly clean and functions properly. You have the privacy of a separate room with pull-out sofa and TV, as well as kitchen (equipped with only a cooking stove, but enough dishes and appliances) and bunk beds, meaning each cottage can fit up to 4 people. It's a quiet location among the nature, combined with the convince of the gas station (EV charging stations available), where you have the shop and the cafe open even on public holidays. Absolutely perfect place to stay during a road trip. P.S. I can also hint to read the history of this place, which I found really interesting. I'm sure the current management would make Arne Haugerud proud.

We met this excellent host during the breakfast, very pleasant and approachable man. The area was really calm, rooms were comfortable and clean.

We loved that place that has a mountain lodge atmosphere, our room was big and confortable, very good restaurant on site, great staff. Playground for kids.

One of the best breakfast in Norway that I have visited. Excellent hotel, quiet, close to town. Buffet dinner is excellent. Truly value for money!!

The restaurant food was fine dining standard and the staff were a delight. The new fittings in the bathroom provided the best shower in Norway.
