We stayed 2 nights at Jostedal Hotel to visit the nearby valleys. The location is exceptional, as well as the cleanliness and comfort of the room, which had views of two waterfalls and part of the valley. The owner was kind, funny, affectionate... and she gave us many useful explanations about dinner. Very good breakfast and dinner, in a warm room. There was a homemade strawberry jam that... Mmmm....

Great location as we were visiting one of the glaciers near by on an organised trip. Hotel served food all day and had a great selection of cakes as well. Breakfast was included and had a good choice of options. Staff were very friendly. There is also a small supermarket next door to the hotel which was really handy. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

We really appreciated the well-equipped shared kitchen at Jostedal Camping, which offered a great view of the river right outside the window. The shared bathrooms were excellent, with lovely showers providing great water pressure and a consistently nice and hot temperature. Great central location for exploring glaciers.

We arrived during the low season so I think there were 2-3 more guests present. The hotel is nice and close to the glacier so a nice stop on your way to view it.

If you want to spend quality time away from noisy tourists - that is the best place. It is not fancy hotel, but people and atmosphere here are great.
