Nice little house with everything you need in a quiet area with view on the water and on the passing ships. Very nice host. Gibostad is a nice village with a coffeehouse and a decent shop. Only the restaurant was temporarily closed. Good place to explore the island. Highly recommended.

The location was stunning, very remote but the view was unbelievable. Would recommend picking up snacks/some drinks on the way in although there is a bar. Staff were super helpful and food was tasty, not the most extensive menu for dinner but both dinner and breakfast were lovely.

Located right on a beach in Sommarøy. The Host Olivier was a great host and great company if your looking for it. It is a well organised community lodge with great facilities everything you need. I would love to come back again!

This is the most amazing place I've ever stayed at. Johan is the best host! The place is super nice and cozy, everything is perfect. Snow equipment is at disposal so we went for the walk in the mountain nearby with snowshoes and were able to see the northern lights! There are no words to say how much I would recommand this place!! So do yourself a favor and book a room for some unforgettable memories!

When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with the property and the hospitality with a bottle of sparkling to settle us in. The property is situated up from the coast line, giving beautiful views of the water and, most of all, the mountains! The apartment is stunning and luxuriously fitted with all modern conveniences such as underfloor heating, fully fitted kitchen, super speaker for Bluetooth connectivity, and netflix. The bathroom is beautiful, and absolutely luxurious shampoo , conditioner, and body wash were supplied! Outside, the garden is big enough to sit and capture the views and the northern lights! The bus stop is right outside, meaning you can easily visit Tromso (or venture further afield). Bus timetables are available online and are frequent and seem to not run on Sundays. Hiring a car isn't necessarily a must at all. The owners answered any queries very quickly and were very lovely hosts. We love Tromso, and we will definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, cozy pod rooms with windows. Has all amenities - shower (common to the campsite), WC etc. It is right next to the beach, so you can enjoy beautiful views of the sea. Walking a bit gets to a small hillock and opens up great views to the mountains, sea and villages. There are other amazing viewpoints nearby too. Most of all, the owners are super nice and welcoming. Very responsive, and helpful. Patiently answered all my questions. Stay becomes so much better with such great owners
