I had a wonderful stay at this new container hotel. The property feels very fresh, with all the equipment and fittings being modern, high-quality, and well maintained. Everything was spotless and clean, which made the stay extra comfortable. The design is sleek yet cozy, and the riverside location adds a very relaxing vibe—you can really unwind while enjoying the scenery. There’s also a comfortable outdoor seating area with a fire pit, which made the evenings extra special. Sitting by the fire with the river beside you was an amazing experience.

I stayed in a double room (the building of reception). You may really see that the room is well maintained. It's clean, cozy, the kitchen is equipped with all needed items, and there is a great shower room. After a long drive, it was nice to stay here.

We only booked one night but I wish I had booked longer. The location was stunning, Aurland is a quaint village with spectacular views of the fjord. The lady on reception was so helpful and prepared an early breakfast for us so we could catch our train.
