The shower cabinet was leaking due to that it was difficult to shower and the door to the cabinet could not be closed properly as well. It's not a pleasant experience. The location is beautiful, and staff is nice. Hotel is expensive based on the services. Overall I would rate 6/10.

Charming hotel and very nice hosts !! When we arrived we had a nice talk with the receptionist and he told us about the giant serpent legend of the lake nearby.
The whole hotel has a very nice atmosphere and the breakfast was perfect thank you !!
Seljord is a nice little town :)

I felt very much cheated for paying around 185 euros for a small 1 person bed in a tiny cabin while sleeping now in a 5 star hotel in Geilo for only 121 euros.
They lied about WIFI too, they don’t have it.
Very waste of money but especially trust in owner.

Very good dinner and a lot of choice. Good breakfast. The hotel is an authentic and old Norwegian building so it is lovely to stay there.
