Location was beautiful, and the staff was extremely friendly and let us have dinner in the restaurant even though the kitchen was about to close when we had a late check-in. Very comfortable and cosy hotel!

Very unique and interesting lodge with great location right on the lake. We stayed in a dome tent and it was awesome experience even though we didn’t see any starts due to clouds. Dinner was exceptionally tasty so highly recommended.

Best hotel we've stay in Norway. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was very small, but clean and cozy. The hotel restaurant made us a vegan meals, which were extremely delicious. They even have vegan options for breakfast. Great location in you want to explore Jotunheimen NP. I would stay here one more time.

The apartment and location was better than we expected.

The apartment and location was better than we expected. There was enough space for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. It was clean and quiet there. The location itself is quite nice with great views. It is perfect place for relaxation.

Our one night stay was a highlight of the whole trip! Really unique hotel with great dining and spa facilities, wish we could have stayed at least another night. Staff were super friendly and accommodating with our late arrival and allowed us to have dinner past kitchen closing time. Just one of those historic hotels with a unique charm where you actually want to hang out in the common areas - hard to come by these days! Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a true Norwegian hotel experience.

I loved it! The staff was very friendly and patient to explain everything. I loved the decor of our room and the whole house, it was almost like a hunter's hut. The hotel also offers dinner if you'd like (the menu mainly has game meat, which is interesting). The location is in a very convenient place - between Lom and Gamle Strynefjellsvegen towards the fjords. Would love to come back if we were in Norway again.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It provided all the necessary conditions for a comfortable experience. The room was clean, quiet, and well-maintained, which is exactly what you’d expect from such a location. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel as it is closed enough (1h,1:30h) if you want to go hiking on National parks.

The hut was absolutely fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The blend between old and modern works great and gives the room really a lot of character. The overall experience was much better than at any of the big chain hotels or Grand Hotel in Oslo.
