Fantastic city, lots to do and see.

Fantastic city, lots to do and see. Nice restaurants but it’s expensive. Prepare for the cold with layers, gloves, hat, scarf and get strap on grips for your shoes so you don’t slip on the ice while walking around. Recommend a trip up the cable car after a walk across the bridge to see the cathedral. Recommend the Wandering Owl northern lights tour and going on a boat tour. Great views from the harbour, stay around here if you can. Recommend the Seaview Suite Airbnb. Enjoy!

Tromso is the best location for exploring the artics - Northern Lights and whales watching. Would recommend the RIB tours for up close and authentic experience of watching the amazing beautiful orcas and humpbacks over the big boats tours, both have their unique experiences. Must do activity is definitely the Tromsobadet.

Sensational! Great Hotel.

Sensational! Great Hotel. Good location. 5mins from airport by car, bus, or taxi. Good transportation- Brilliant Bus Network. Main Capital was really nice, had everything! Food, culture, modern, historical, fashion, shops. Found people very friendly, whether in shops or general public. Sightseeing was brilliant and there was so much more that we didn’t even do. Something for everyone! Definitely going to go back in the summertime just to see the contrast! And the Northern Lights made the Complete

Lovely small city, buses are fantastic.

Lovely small city, buses are fantastic. Not a lot to do there wouldn’t stay more than 3 days. Airport signage not good, public bus pickup point was unlit and scary to be at at nighttime. AirPort Express bus doesn’t have enough buses on at night.

Tromsø is an amazing city; it’s known for being at great place to catch the northern lights but it’s also got lots of culture and flavor. For a smaller city, it’s got ample bars, festivals, restaurants, and easily accessible nature, that make it outrival many big cities. Catch a football game, hike a mountain, or drink beer from the world’s northernmost brewery while you’re waiting for the aurora :)

Beautiful city.

Beautiful city. Went to see the lights and did not disappoint, even with cloud cover all the days we went! We downloaded a few apps suggested by AI, and they were super helpful. We used the Svipper app to travel around town with the bus, and it worked wonders for us and our wallets! Lots of things to see and do during the day as well. The botanical gardens were beautiful and super well kept. Polaria was worth the money. Restaurants are a bit expensive but great dining! Telegrafbukta and Prestvannet are great places to see the northern lights!

cozy small nicely furnished cabin with a beautiful view. We really liked the concept of choosing a breakfast variation which they bring directly to your cabin. We recommend booking a car early enough in advance since the accommodation is 40 min away from the city centre/ airport and cars are not easy to get spontaneously. 3 of 4 nights northern lights were easily so see. Everyone was super friendly- we would definitely come back.

Location very good, walking distance to all meeting points for the tours that we had, close to bus station and city centre. The food was good, not very much choice but still a couple of dishes to choose from. Considering prices in Norway having a hotel that serves breakfast and dinner is saving you a lot of money. Nothing too fancy but not bad either, pretty good experience overall.

We loved that the hotel is positioned slightly elevated, so that we were able to see the Northern Lights from our window! The breakfast was amazing, as was the staff, especially at the breakfast! It was very clean, the people cleaning the rooms are doing an amazing job.

This hotel is in a nice quiet location with easy to access the city centre either on foot (20 minutes) or by bus (less than 5 minutes). It's comfortable and there is a shared kitchen so you can self-cater and not spend as much (Norway is expensive!!).

One of the cheapest hotels on our trip to Norway. Everything quite clean. We also opted for breakfast which costs €15 but is really very varied. Excellent in terms of quality and price.
