We were just overwhelmed by the hospitality we got from Sigurd and Heidi! You can really feel all the hard work that went into building such a unique place and Sigurd has given very interesting insights into the story of Flatheim. We enjoyed a really delicious dinner in a cozy, old hut. Especially all the different tasty local food and drinks were a highlight, and also getting to taste the Viking cheese for breakfast (gamlaost). And on top of that being located in a remote, beautiful landscape.. We couldn't have imagined a better place and would have chosen a longer stay!
