From the moment I arrived, Mr. Raj Gupta ..... the owner and manager, extended a warm welcome that made me feel right at home. His attentive and friendly demeanor set the tone for my entire stay. The staff at the hotel were equally commendable. Always ready to assist, they ensured that all my needs were met promptly and with a smile. Their professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction were evident throughout my visit. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment after a day of exploring Pokhara. The hotel's location is ideal, offering easy access to local attractions and scenic views. In summary, my stay at Hotel August International was delightful. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and the personal touch from Mr. Gupta and his team made it a memorable experience. This hotel is really really good at their services,not too much just the perfect way:like old friends warmly and friendly~also it’s not the big fancy hotel ,the manager Kandel is really good at managing,the staff are doing really good at the details!if you are lucky,you will have a snow-capped Mountain View when you had breakfast! A good place to stay after finishing my trekking. The location was perfect, a quiet side street and very close to the city center. The quietness at night helped me sleep really well. Also really enjoyed the hot shower and comfortable beds. The owner was helpful in getting me bus tickets to Pokhara and a taxi to the bus station.

Little peaceful oasis set back from the main road. The family are super super friendly and welcoming. I had some welcome tea on arrival and I felt at home as soon as arrived. I was on the first floor and my room had a balcony which led onto a big terrace with views of the lake. Perfect for morning yoga and chilling at the tables. Free filtered drinking water is available. Super comfy bed and a large room were wonderful! I would 100% recommend and stay again 🥰

Hotel Chino is a very comfortable, central stay in Pokhara. The hotel is probably on the best street in town, very close to everything. Every room has a balcony where you can admire the beautiful Phewa Lake and the rooms are spacious. The property offers breakfast each morning and also has a nice lunch and dinner menu — I was impressed by the quality and presentation of the food, and it is great value. They can also arrange tours around Pokhara.

I spent a few days at this hotel in July and can only warmly recommend it. The rooms are very nicely furnished and spacious and above all very clean. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. At my request, he organised a trekking tour, which was a great success despite the monsoon rain and was also a lot of fun thanks to the great guide (thank you Shova 😉). A really wonderful stay.

I find Pokhara to be one of the best places for a vacation. The city offers a wide range of accommodations—from budget lodges and mid-range hotels to luxurious five-star resorts. Its scenic beauty, cleanliness, diverse and delicious food options, welcoming culture, and strong sense of safety make it truly special. There are plenty of vacation activities to enjoy, and the surrounding hills offer excellent opportunities for both short and long hikes. Pokhara is perhaps one of the few cities where you can take in the stunning views of serene lakes, lush green hills, and majestic snow-clad mountains—all standing right before you. I come here often for my holidays, and each time leaves me wanting more. I love returning again and again.

Pokhara was excellent!

Pokhara was excellent! I had the chance to participate in a local wedding, which gave me a real understanding of Nepali traditions and customs. I visited beautiful places like the World Peace Stupa, Begnas Lake, Phewa Lake, the Old Bazaar, and the New Bazaar. For food and atmosphere, I enjoyed Open House Restro & Lounge Bar by the lakeside. Getting around was easy, and for solo travellers there’s so much to do – from exploring temples and bazaars to relaxing by the lake or hiking to viewpoints.

Phewa Lake and its surroundings feels authentic full of different city's flavors Weather is tricky during rainy season Definitely needs to stay there at least for three days to see major Buddhist landmarks I ate on the local streets - both restaurant and street food Expensive plane from KTM or 6-9 hour bus from Kathmandu

Pokhara is a beautiful city with tourist attractions.

Pokhara is a beautiful city with tourist attractions. It was a difficult road journey in a Luxury Coach journey from Kathamandu which took 11 hours to travel 200km due to extremely poor road conditions and traffic jams. Nepal Government must improve the infrastructure and to have reliable airlines with good safety records to attract more tourists to help its economy as well.

It's a beautiful, peaceful city with pleasant weather and stunning natural surroundings. We explored the lake area and nearby spots – truly relaxing. The airport was very clean and convenient, making travel smooth. A perfect stopover for trekkers and nature lovers!

The staff of Hotel Chino Pokhara was outstanding. They greeted us with great kindness and respect. We received an upgrade to a larger room, with an amazing view due to the fact that we looked exhausted and we've had a crazy busride behind us, I'm assuming. At breakfast they asked us which kind of coffee we'd like and how we'd like our eggs, which I thought was a nice personal touch. The Hotel is located in the midst of Pokhara, near the lakeside path. An absolute recommendation!

It’s a beautiful location with the unique experience of waking up to the glorious Annapurna mountain range. It’s located closely to the cable car so it is fairly easy to get to Pokhara lakeside but definitely also worth it to just stay at the hotel for a relaxing time.
