The hotel is a hidden gem in busy Thamel, located in a quiet street it has a terrace where you can enjoy a cold beer. I accidently found the hotel when I was looking for a quiet terrace to have a cold beer after walking around Kathmandu the whole day. The staff welcomed me with open arms and were super friendly. I needed a room when I returned to Kathmandu after traveling Nepal for 3-4 weeks and I was so impressed by the staff that I booked a room while sitting on the terrace. When I entered the hotel after 3-4 weeks and a 10 hour bus ride from Chitwan they remembered me, and gave me the exact same chair on the terrace and the same beer I was drinking 3-4 weeks ago 😊 The room was absolutly Spotless and clean. Again I would like to thank the staff for making me feel at home during my stay 🙏

Top notch breakfast with a vast array of options. The room had everything you could want. We ordered room service on our last night to really relax and the food standards were great :) The staff are attentive, polite, pleasant and basically do everything they can to ensure you have the best possible time. Our stay at Hotel Yambu was fantastic and memorable. Their warm and attentive service made us feel right at home. They were especially patient and caring with my parents, who were senior citizens, which made a huge difference in our overall experience. Breakfast was simple but good.
