We liked everything Matakauri had to offer. The staff were more like friends and treated us like family. Sitting in the lounge in front of the fireplace enjoying the view of the mountains was absolutely stunning. AND the food was fabulous!!

Cleanliness and great staff. The breakfast was good also. I had a problem with the curtain of my bedroom window and they promptly moved us to another room. Bonus: they have a 24h service of pizza to sell.
