We liked everything Matakauri had to offer. The staff were more like friends and treated us like family. Sitting in the lounge in front of the fireplace enjoying the view of the mountains was absolutely stunning. AND the food was fabulous!!

Everything was perfect there. The decoration, the staff, and the room were extremely comfortable. Oh of course and the view from the room was divine. Walking distance from the city center really helped a lot as well.

Nice modern hotel, spacious room and bathroom, great gym open 24h, good wifi. Beautiful big open lobby / restaurant / bar with outdoor space and view of the mountains. Lobby has plenty of sockets. Very helpful and friendly staff. 5-10min walk to all the central shops and restrairants, 10min drive to the airport

The Ramada was quiet and our room was very clean. The room was very spacious and the bed was very large and comfortable; our room had a small kitchen which we used for preparing simple breakfasts and dinners. We found the location ideal; a short walk (up or down a hill) to the center of Queenstown and all its activities and restaurants. For us, it was a bit of a splurge but we were happy with the Ramada and happy we selected this hotel.
