Louise is a gorgeous, kind, warm person and it was a pleasure to stay in her lovely home. The room is very spacious, comfortable bed, powerful shower, everything to high spec. Really nice continental breakfast with lots of variety.

Due to a comprehensible reason the hosts coundn't be present during my stay, but the communication beforehand was very nice and easy, and the friend how took over was just lovely :-) - The building, the garden and the location are stunning. - Sparkling clean. - Best breakfast I had during my 7 weeks stay in NZ. Everything home-made and very tasty. Just perfect!

Everything about my stay was absolutely perfect. Abby and Eli were incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and always quick to respond to any questions. They truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful experience. This was my first stay in New Zealand, and they set the bar extremely high. The lodge was spotless and thoughtfully designed with so much care. The breakfast was entirely homemade and delicious, and the fridge was stocked with homemade spreads, rye bread, yogurt, and milk. I’ve been traveling around New Zealand for a week now, and nowhere has compared to Buffalo Lodge. An unforgettable stay!

Walking through the Kauri at Long Bay. Driving Creek railway, Waterworks - been to both before but they didn't disappoint - even with teens! Also great experience, food, service and prices at the pub and Taco food van.

The town itself is small and friendly, but my main reason...

The town itself is small and friendly, but my main reason for being there was to explore the local landscapes, which were gorgeous, and the Driving Creek Railway, which was extraordinary, and really not-to-be missed if you're in the area. The story of how it was built over many decades through the dedication and drive of one man was deeply moving and inspiring. The trip to the top was unforgettable. I'd definitely do it all again if I had the chance!

Great cafes, really friendly community.

Great cafes, really friendly community. Great selection of shops so if you needed something you could get it there. Saturday market for fresh produce was great. Lots of activities from fishing and beaches to walks, found a great museum.

Coromandel was the nicest place we visited on the Coromandel...

Coromandel was the nicest place we visited on the Coromandel Peninsula. It is a charming and unspoiled historic town. There are some good restaurants there too. We recommend the Star and Garter Hotel and the Turkish restaurant was great.

Town's friendliness. The town cat, Helen Clark. The main hotel, pub with its history and well priced Aperol Spritz. The 2 restaurants we went to plus the fish and chip shop. The nearby secluded bays and beaches. The train up the hill.

We had the view out the front overlooking the oyster farm in the bay. The night sky was amazing seeing the planets and Milky Way. The location was great for getting around the peninsular incl the hot beach and snorkeling at cathedral bay. It was our last motel for three nights of a month long road trip and the two ladies who ran the place were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a nice treat.

Hush Boutique Accomodation is located a bit outside of Coromandel Town. We had the Potter Studio which has a nice bedroom overlooking the garden. It was quiet and relaxing. Hugh is a really nice host and gives you good tips what to do around Coromandel.
