Kai Iwi Lake which is located 30 minutes by car is so beautiful.
Supahn Thai Restaurant in Dargavill is very nice.
There is countdown and warehouse in Dargavill and we can prepare the enjoy at the lake or hiking at Kauri park.

Dargaville is a great town.
Dargaville is a great town. Shopping centre is reasonably comprehensive. You need to research things to do. In summer Kai Iwi lakes is a great place to visit, swim, launch your boat ( if you have one) stay in the camping ground or just pitch your own tent. There are plenty of cafes and eating establishments. Research the area and things to do in the area before you go.

Very traditional, old-fashioned kiwi hotel. Slightly shabby but great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It looks a bit like the hotel in the Shining but I think that adds to its unique charm

Very friendly manager who communicated quickly via email. Chose accommodation as very close to Dargaville Little Theatre at which we were attending a concert in the evening

Good place to stay when your in dargaville. Has a pool for the kids. Staff are excellent and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Right next to Dargaville's main street and the waterfront. Clever concept with the rial carriages and it works very well.
