Just as described on the website, the venue is located in a small village which can be reached by gravel road. The road itself is well-maintained and we had no trouble driving in. The house itself is not big, but it does have everything one would need, plus a great panoramic view to the lake. The breakfast is served in a little restaurant nearby and it was delicious.

I stayed at the hotel for Christmas, but advise to book in advance during the high season. There are a lot of parking spaces, a cafe and a bar on site, that helped a lot during the public holidays when everything was closed. I had a large new renovation room with a mansard roof and a beautiful view. A lake 5 minutes away, as well as hiking area, 1 hour drive to Queenstown along the lake. Glenorchy is a very beautiful and peaceful place, not overcrowded as Queenstown.

Only 10 mins walk into the centre of Glenorchy and restaurants, hotels. Very friendly owners - the studio is part of the back of their house but with a separate entrance. Good parking too. All new and modern with high quality fixtures and lovely toiletries. Very comfortable! Easy check-in with good instructions.
