Excellent studio apartment that was very comfortable, clean and tidy with basic cooking facilities that was all that we needed. Location could not have been better with great Mountain views on one side and the Tasman Sea and a massive beach on the other. Also not far from good restaurants and Haast township. Reception greeting was warm, friendly and informative. Simply cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Superb. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay before or after the Haast Pass. It has all facilities dir cooking. They sell delicious berry ice cream in the evening. Some sport equipment is in the garden provided. We can recommend this place.

Had a very nice stay. The place was clean and host was very friendly.

Located along the coast, a 10-minute drive from Haast, Bay Road Motels is surrounded by nature. The Turnbull river being a short walk from motels.

What a delight! So peaceful, quiet and away from it all. We had the best sleep here and wish we were staying longer. No frills or fancies, just basic facilities in the most delightful surroundings. We aim to return next year. Such a pleasant surprise!

Great host, she is very sociable with each guests and takes good care of them, keeps kitchen always neat and clean, loves gardening and often watering plants in garden lounge, guests enjoy to sit and relax here. Best location in Haast township, supermarket ON THE SPOT 30sec., Spiker Cafe 1min., Restaurant The Hard Antler 2min., daytime crapes cart and whitebait carts come near here, intercity bus stop is in front of hostel entrance. Hostel has 3 bikes, I biked to Jackson Bay and enjoyed this good bike.
