The staff and their services are beyond exceptional. They are so lovely for allowing us to have our elopement wedding ceremony on the hotel grounds. Check-in and check-out are so swift too. We stayed in the Lakefront suite and enjoyed the fireplace and the bath tub that goes with it. It is truly more than what we have expected. They even served our breakfast in our room because we had to leave really early in the morning. The hotel, the scenery, the staff, the facilities, and the peacefulness in the area are soooo worth the money.

We could not have found a better location. We went for the Zipline and luge and were pretty much on their doorstep. The room was basic but had everything we needed in it. The common area had something for everyone.

This property exceeded our expectations in all aspects - Exceptional customer services by the hosts, Cleanliness, Facilities, ambience, space, easy access to city and other tourist spots. Donna met us on arrival and explained our room and what’s on. The room was self contained and ample. The kitchen was very well stocked, and there were lots of fresh goods in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom excellent. An outstanding experience. Recommended to all. Thank you.

Very beautiful, neat & tidy house with 4 bedrooms and spacious living room. High tech home appliances. Eye catching views out from the master bedroom, kitchen and living room. Lots of games available for all age groups. Host was very helpful and welcoming. We had a great time staying at this property and celebrating Christmas 2024.

Friendly management team. Loved the daily visits from the dog. Great location. Very quiet. Comfy rooms. The kids absolutely loved the old school video game! My partner even returned with his own kids 2 weeks later. So good.

Hamurana is a beautiful, quiet spot on the outskirts of Rotorua. Close enough to all the attractions with the added bonus of peace and quiet. Our accommodation on the Lake edge was so tranquil and peaceful we 'hunkered ' down for the weekend choosing only to venture out for walks.
