The owner Trisha was absolutely lovely and beyond helpful. I had to stay here due to breaking down around the corner and I wasn’t able to get home for the night. She offered to take me to the local takeaway to pick me up some food as I hadn’t eaten all day and she organised someone to take me home to Tauranga the next day without me even asking. The room was a great size, had a full kitchenette, a comfy bed and an outside smoking area. Everything was spotlessly clean. Thank you for all your help😄

Very charming cottage! Decorated with taste and old historical details of the mining history of the region. It’s very cozy and comfortable. It’s super clean and very well equipped. Views and terrace are delightful with direct access to animal farm (sheep and chickens). A lot of historical trails in the area. The family who owns the cottage is lovely.

I absolutely loved my stay at the dome. Amir was super kind and welcoming and showed us around the property. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. It was raining when we came in and we were really worried we wouldn't be able to see the starts but the clouds ended up going away at 3am so we got a gorgeous view of the stars. The dome was comfortable and had everything that we needed. I highly recommend staying here.

Clare and Ralph were the nicest people you will find! Whatever we needed, they made sure we got it. They respected our privacy and wouldn't even knock on the door to leave stuff behind when we were in the lodge! Just one text to Clare and she would answer you ASAP and try to fulfil all your wishes!
