I loved the Waikato river view outside the motel and close by to all the amenities. Was easy to get there and arrangements done for the keys was amazing. Well Informed by staff in advance through email and text messages which I liked the best part of the stay. Would definitely coming back again👍recommend to all family and friends.

It's a little town on the side of the motorway that I drive past often, never thinking to stop there. I overnighted as part of a kayaking adventure, and though it is small and didn't have much, it had just enough to keep my wife and I interested for an overnight stay. The pub is decent and served a decent salad for dinner, there are a few little speciality shops and some natural and commercial history. I was pleasantly surprised, and will probably make a stop at the cheese shop a regular detour on my Hamilton to Auckland trips.
