The owners were very welcoming and generous leaving all sorts of provisions for our stay. We arrived late on and as we didn't have any dinner, that was also kindly offered, just amazing hosts. The cottage is old fashioned, but extremely comfortable a lovely place to stay and close to Hobbiton and Rotorua too.

I stayed here with my partner for 2 nights and this was our favourite place that we stayed in New Zealand! The host was extremely kind and friendly and provided plenty of snacks and food items for our stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean with modern decor. The owners were very welcoming. They stayed upstairs of the accommodation. We arrived just before dinner time and they offered to cook us something if we have nothing to eat. They are just very hospitable. The apartment is very lovely, clean and comfortable. Location is good too but we have a car.

Our third time here - it gets better every time. A unique place to celebrate a wedding anniversary, or any other celebratory occasion. Outstanding facilities. with full size stove, refrigerator and a multitude of cooking utensils. To cap all this, we arrived to find a freshly baked loaf of bread, eggs from their chooks and a full litre of milk in the fridge - the list goes on. This was not a one-off experience; it was the same the previous two times. As we said before - we'll be back.
