The owners were very welcoming and generous leaving all sorts of provisions for our stay. We arrived late on and as we didn't have any dinner, that was also kindly offered, just amazing hosts. The cottage is old fashioned, but extremely comfortable a lovely place to stay and close to Hobbiton and Rotorua too.

What a fantastic surprise this stay ended up being. We booked it during our travels for a quick place to stop at after visiting Hobbiton and on our way to Auckland without expecting much. However, the old world charm, the excellently maintained hot springs, and the delicious dinner were all great surprises.
