We absolutely loved our night here. Super clean, super comfortable beds, great space, beautiful shower, loved the basin, lovely and warm with the heat pump, but the little additional bits like the spray oil and box of tissues made it. Seeing the gardens in the morning was just the icing on the cake.

Great place to stay, the family that hosts has taken excellent care of the facility and went out of their way to assist. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed with all that is needed for cooking. Great central location to all the activities in Golden Bay and across street from grocery store and downtown shops.

Friendly host, useful travel tips Situated away from the the town, just a few minutes drive. So many beautiful spots to be explored from Takaka, the spring, the falls, beaches, salmon farm for the lunch, many walks, we should stay longer. Beautiful unit with outdoor seating and beautiful sunset view and beautiful night sky, surrounded by birds songs. Well equipped apartment with everything we need. Laundry facilities are available at communal area. Interesting glow worm cave to be explored at night.

Lovely place in nature with birdsongs around,, very kind and helpful host. clean and comfortable room with outdoor seating in front. And enough electric sockets in the room! Simple but very practical shared outdoor kitchen with all what may be necessary and plus fresh eggs to be used for breakfast.

Great spot near Takaka but in a natural setting.

Great spot near Takaka but in a natural setting. Comfortable studio unit with kitchen, dining lounge & bed all open plan. Well fitted out for a couple wanting a rustic retreat, The hosts Fiona and Frederick were superb . They presented the place in pristine condition and were very responsive when needed. Really tranquil & peaceful place with good flow in and out..

The style of the house fits in perfect with its surroundings...

The style of the house fits in perfect with its surroundings and area! You get a very relaxing and easy stay being able to connect with nature and the views all around you. The heated outside shower was amazing, compost toilet was very clean and modern considering, all in all the perfect blend of modern and easy to use things without looking out of place for it’s environment.

It was easy to navigate around Rangihaeata, the beach was hidden and perfect. Monica and Jim were wonderful, they were so easy going and helpful. Had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend it to others.
