I can't really say enough positive things about Amanda and Les, and their beautiful property. They were exceptionally welcoming, and cooked us a delicious meal (South African-style braai), for dinner - which had been arranged beforehand. They (and another guest) joined us for dinner, and we all shared stories and laughter. The property is a bit of an oasis of peace, with glow worms to view at night, for those who wish to seek them out (they're fairly close to the main buildings - try the Night Sight setting on your camera). The bed was extremely comfortable, and we enjoyed the best sleep of our journey. All in all, a great experience...and a great overall value.

Great location with a view to Mt. Taranaki (if you are lucky that it pops out of the clouds :)). Nice breakfast, the owenr is super friendly and has such a cute dog Rusty. Spa bath was a welcome addition to the room.

Right next door to the supermarket which was super convenient. Room was lovely, lots of space, a lovely big bathroom and the beds were comfortable as! Staff were incredibly helpful. I had to check in late so they texted all my information to me and I was able to get into my room with ease! Will definitely stay again when I'm up that way!

Very good stay for one night getaway in the nature. House has all you need, if not hosts are really nice and try to provide everything needed. The view of the mountain is stunning.
