The hotel was nice, very clean, staff were very helpful.

The hotel was nice, very clean, staff were very helpful. Staff helped us book half a day boat trip to see the dolphins. Khasab is a small town and offers things to enjoy like diving, camping, desert safari, fishing, .. Our trip was fun and we enjoyed it. We recommend it especially for those who seek relaxing.

The best cafe was Chaf Chaf Cafe, and they also did fishing trips were we went fishing adn had a superb Time. there are not much restaurants there adn the food is ok, but the atana khasab hotel restaurant food was superb adn very tasty, especially the chicken Byriani. we also had knafe at alokhasab and its was very tasty. the problem there is that you need a car to manouver as the places are not close to each other. We also did the zip line at the Atana Khasab Hotel, which was astonishing. the best activities are Fishing, hiking and camping. these are recommeneded to be done with Captain Mal at Chaf Chaf Adventures. he is a very polite and kind man and will do his job from his heart and makes sure you are having a time of your life.

Khasab, in Musandam, Oman, offers a uniquely stunning landscape of rugged cliffs and vibrant blue seas. The scenic coastal roads from the UAE-Oman border to Khasab are well-maintained, providing easy access to public beaches. History lovers will appreciate the well-preserved castles and forts open to visitors. The locals are friendly and welcoming, adding to the charm of the area. A visit to Khasab wouldn’t be complete without a traditional dhow boat cruise, where you can relax, watch dolphins, and enjoy a delicious onboard lunch. For the best experience, plan your trip during the cooler months from November to April.

There is nothing much to do in the town.

There is nothing much to do in the town. You will have to stick to the resort and a couple of beaches. But if you choose the right resort, you can spend some quality time. But the annoying thing was that there was a new rule that came into picture that you cannot take your vehicle if it is under mortgage. So everyone should be aware of it.

There isn’t a lot to do here, but the drive alone is worth the trip. A dhow trip is a great, relaxing way to see more of the natural beauty of the coast (unfortunately the boats are giant stinkpots emitting diesel pollution into beautiful waters). The dolphins love to play with the bow wake. Take a book and enjoy. The fort is really interesting! Easy to visit, plenty to learn.

The best experience was a full day dhow trip, the scenery is stunning and it's also fun to travel in a dhow. The snorkelling is ok but nothing compared with other coastal areas of Oman. Unfortunately, as a solo traveller I wasn't able to join in any other trips (which require a minimum group size of 4 people). I didn't have a car so getting around is not easy (no taxis!). The local beach, Bassa, is quite good for a swim if you can ignore the horrendous plastic bottle pollution which is present everywhere in Oman.

The Hotel is situated on a beutiful hill with an amazing sea view. there is also a zip line, the longest in teh world over water, which starts from a mountain and ends at the hotel, amazing event to do. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety adn tasty foods. the chef makes you your omlete of choice. very friendly staff and the service is superb. the room was clean and spacious. the bed was a bit hard, but its orthopedic, so some people prefer it. Over all the stay was very nice.

It’s location. Views of the surrounding area. Staff were particularly helpful and friendly. Rasheed was exceptional and even privately drove us to a BBQ at the sister hotel resort in Musandam, rather than have us wait for the free shuttle bus. The hotel noticed my birthday date in my passport and surprised me with delivering a cake to my room. It was a lovely Omani touch of hospitality!

A good three star hotel, the staff did everything possible to make my stay enjoyable. They allowed me to check in early and check out late without additional charges. They also upgraded me to a suite. Breakfast was nice, better than expected
