This is the most beautiful property in a fairytale village. Wonderful authentic Omani house. Kemal the manager was very helpful and arranged a day’s canyoning with a guide.

All was perfect from the first to the last one. The place is near to nizwa, jabel shams, misfah, … Ahmed is a welcoming person who likes to exchange with you. We had the right to the Omanian hospitality.

All you can want out of a stay in the old part of Al Hamra, a superb mix between traditional and a modern touch. I highly recommend Mountain View for staying a few days in the area, it’s totally worth it, from the look and feel of the place, to the big terrace and the extremely friendly staff!

This accommodation exceeded our expectations. The hotel is in a beautiful location amidst the ruins of the old Al Hamra. It has an excellent atmosphere. The hotel does not have a reception, but the owner will come when called. Faisal was very friendly and also told us many interesting things about the history of the place.
