The view is like on the photos, awesome. It really worth it to do the ride, you can easily reach driving from Nizwa or Oman, with a 4x4 wheels. Breakfast and dinner were good. Famous spot for hiking

- Friendly staff - Good sized room and a HUGE bed! The owner said that they made the bed frame themselves, with wood from the area. - Clean and functional shower, with enough hot water for 2 pax (it gets cold in the evening so this is important!) - Delicious food! We didn't expect this, but the buffet was really good, both for dinner and for breakfast. - It's the last (one could say the only) house in this section of the wadi, which means that you can start walking from the guesthouse and within 5 minutes, find yourself in an incredibly peaceful environment, surrounded by the steep mountainsides of the wadi. That was a big plus!

Ahmed's Al Shuruq Stay is located around the beautiful mountains in the quaint little village of Al Hamra. Let me start with how he is an excellent, gem of a host to all the guests, he treats everyone like family! He welcomed us very warmly into our room which was named after Misfat Al Abriyeen. It was a very well furnished, spacious and comfy room that was actually prettier in person than in the photos! The bathroom was neat and the beds were comfortable. All the amenities were readily available, there was even a kitchen accessible to all guests. Throughout the stay, Ahmed was only one WhatsApp Message away. He was incredibly helpful and also drove us to show his village and even went the extra mile to take care of my sister who fell ill during the journey. The stay is very close to grocery shops, fuel station and restaurants and over all is a very safe place. Al Hamra is a beautiful, calm and cozy place nestled between the mountains and has the kindest people. I loved it there and will definitely visit again! I would 10/10 recommend Al Shuruq Stay, it has the best location, rooms and host in the town! 🫶

This hotel is rather a villa which is perfect for families or groups of friends. Playground and self-catering facilities are very good and the owner / staff are more than helpful. Spectacular surroundings.

- Excellent location. Very close on foot to the traditional village (some minutes). Private parking into the house. The guest houses in the village seem good too, but they are very difficult to access (it is needed to park the car at the entrance of the village and to climb up on foot several hundred of meters). In Roghan Hospitality Inn, the park place is just by the door of the hotel. -Very nice room A blend of traditional and modern cultures. Room very modern and well designed. There is an AC and heating system , but we didn't use it. The lowest outside temperature was 13 degrees during the night, but temperature of the room was kept at 20 degrés without heating thanks to the very isolating windows. Nice view on the mountains through panoramique windows. - Traditional diner and buffet on the terrace. - Very nice staff. The owner took time at the end of the diner to talk with us and explain a lot about Oman. In the morning after the night, he accompanied us for a tour of the old village. Really very nice. We stopped at the honey maker shop. Very interesting explanation from the honey maker. And a lot of différent kinds of honey. - We thank very much the owner of the Roghan Hospitality Inn (who speaks English very well) and have special thanks to Annie who took care of our diner and Mohamed.
