We lived at the top floor and really enjoyed the rooftop area, especially since we for the most time had it for ourselves. This house is in a very quiet area of Nizwa, although there is construction work and children shouting outside. There is a very good coffee shop nearby. The staff was so polite and helpful. It was just a very good vibe here. The building are so beautiful, and the room is estetically well designed. Would stay here again!

We used to stay at the Falaj Daris 20 years ago when we lived in Oman and loved the hotel then. It didn’t disappoint 20 years later. The rooms are in a lovely ground floor courtyard setting around the pool and restaurant giving it a real Arabic feel. We were a family of 6 adults and had 3 spacious inter connecting rooms - 2 twin rooms (two small doubles in each room) and a double room (UK King bed). Rooms have a small fridge and kettle with tea/coffee. Beds are comfortable. Essential toiletries are also provided. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was a delicious hot/cold buffet with different hot combinations every day (the hot porridge was fabulous). We also ate at the hotel every night as they had a good Indian/western food selection, reasonably priced and very tasty (burgers were super tasty). They also have a bar and alcohol license. Staff are super friendly and they also helped out when we had an issue with our rental car. Hotel is about a 10 minute drive into Nizwa but its location means that it’s easy to get to and is much quieter than the hotels nearer the fort. We loved our stay and would always stay here when visiting Nizwa.
