Great isolated location on top of the dune. Fantastic place to meet sunrise in the chilly morning (we stayed in January). Amazing hosts Alfarooq and Said are keeping the authenticity and tranquility of the place. The camp is well kept, clean and the personnel are very helpful.

It's a fantastic place to stay in the desert. The room has AC, a comfortable bed, and a well-equipped bathroom. In the morning, we took a ride on a quad bike and sand dune drip with an open-top truck. It was amazing! You will get dinner and a campfire with a start watching. Breakfast was good. Thank you to Ali for the best memories!

The whole experience was incredible. The tent's location is unbelievable. You really are alone in desert luxury. The bed is really comfortable, the bathroom is beautiful and the setting is magical. We were treated so nicely with meals delivered to us and exceptional service. Having dinner in the desert and then waking up to watch the sunrise was gorgeous. The dune bashing was great fun and good value for money. We were lucky to have camels come by in the morning and it was the absolute perfect place for a proposal. Even without that, staying here is the most romantic, beautiful setting i could ever have imagined.

What can we say but “wow”. Staying in the desert with Salin and Alam looking after us was the best way to experience the Wahiba Sands. It was a perfect and authentic experience. Being greeted by the kids and Salin upon our arrival, the sunset camel ride, the outdoor sleeping platform and just the location, all exceeded our expectation. Alam’s food was great and we felt spoiled by him. He was amazing. They cared for our welfare and enjoyment. I would recommend staying here without any hesitation.

An amazing desert experience. There was one member of staff who slept overnight, who cooked a great dinner and breakfast for us in a Bedouin tent. The following day we had a Bedouin guide who took us further into the desert. He managed to find a variety of reptiles and mammals by following tracks and digging in the sand. We saw a lot more than we expected to and was very interesting to talk to somebody who actually lives in the desert.

The great experience in the Camp. Very helpful and kind staff, a bit busy at reception when we arrived, but offered us tea and refreshment while we were waiting for the room. Very nice restaurant with the various food (barbecue, fish and Arab and Indian dishes for dinner, and a good variety for breakfast). There was a swimming pool, can you imagine? In the middle of the desert! Lot's of various activities were offered on our arrival.

Everything just great, from the appartment to breakfast, pool, the complex, extremly nice personel etc. The desert drive is wonderful. It is absolutely no problem to drive there yourself. Just go to the tire shop close to shell gas station and ask them to lower the tire pressure. The drive is quite easy, dont worry. With me maps.me you can navigate, the road is depicted.

When the heavy rain and storm was coming the owner moved all people from the camp to modern apartenent to stay safe and dry. Camp has good atmosphere and you have some activities to try for extra money - especially dune bassin is cool

Loved the sunset drive on the dunes.

Loved the sunset drive on the dunes. Dune bashing was fun and you can tell your driver what version of this you want - soft to fast ! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Make sure you book your seat at outdoor dining to avoid not getting a seat if the camp is full. Also book activities as soon as so you get your preferred time. Food was great - huge selection in the buffet and the musical entertainment was a great surprise !
