From the moment we arrived at Hotel Arkan Al Barzah, we were met with warmth, professionalism, and a level of care that truly set the tone for our stay. The reception was seamless, the staff attentive, and every interaction reflected a genuine willingness to serve. Our room was exquisite - elegantly appointed and incredibly comfortable. We had one of our best nights of rest in all of Oman. What stood out most, though, was the exceptional service after we’d checked out. I had forgotten a dress and bikini in the room, and the staff went above and beyond to organize a courier and ensure the items reached my final destination before I flew out of the country. Their thoughtfulness and follow-through made a lasting impression. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. A true gem.

Everything was perfect, we dont understand how it doesnt have a higher punctuation! Even though its not in Sur center its a good stop when you come from the dessert and then continue to Muscat or the other way around. Its easy to get to sur centre with your own car. The pool and the room its nice and the breakfast had a big choice of things. The shisha corner its also very nice presented. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Everything was absolutely AMAZING!!! The location is perfect and super quiet, just a couple of minutes walking to the beach. The owner and the staff are extremely kind, helpful and welcoming, dinner and breakfast were delicious too! Everything was spotless clean, including the pool. I wish I could give this place 100 stars!

Fantastic place, spacious room with a comfy bed, clean bathroom, phenomenal balcony to watch the sunrise. Comfy communal area to meet other travelers (has fridge, tea, kitchen etc) Strong wifi and clear&responsive communication. I booked last minute, and everything worked out great. It was easy to find, staff was on point and helpful. Parking spaces in front of the door. The location is brilliant. 6 minutes walk to the beginning of the Wadi Shab trail. (I went at 6am and got back by 9:30 - enough time for a shower to head on daisy fresh)

What is the to say other then Price/quality: very good . Sea view: magnificent We used it as a transit hotel from Wahiba Sands (via Wadi al khalid) to Wadi Shab and served its purpose perfectly. Right next to the road (didn't hear car noise btw perhaps as we had sea view). Spacious room. A restaurant neighbouring the hotel was good (and very affordable as well). Don't expect a 5 star hotel (duh because it isn't). Breakfast is good (considering the price once again). We can absolutely recommend this for the price.
