I loved my staying en la Casita del cacao!! I think I couldn't have a better experience feeling the beauty of the nature and the forest. The house has every confort beside being so integrated in the natural environment. When I went, some cacao beans were fermenting and Mei was nice enought to explain me more about the process to transform it into chocolate. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to take the whole tour of the chocolate experience, but I will try my best to come back and not lose this so special experience!

The general atmosphere is so peaceful - everything is made for you to relax in this luxurious nature. You can feel that the owner really cares and is passionate, from littles detail to the delicious breakfast. A big thank you to Federico and Josephine for their incredible welcome and their kindness! We had a memorable stay, despite the bad weather, they took care of us and above all... they cook divinely well. We particularly appreciated the fact that the products used for cooking came directly from the garden or from local producers, as well as the homemade bread prepared for breakfast! The place is beautiful, view on the bay, you can borrow a paddle or a Kayak to go around and meet the dolphins! In short, the Dolphin is a real paradise as much for its location as for its beauty and hospitality!

The accommodation is very modern and has an awesome view of the sea from the shared terrace. We had amazing assistance from Elena, who helped us with tours, transportation, suggestions, and overall great conversation! Although it's not right in the Bocas del Toro village, it's very easy to get there via taxi or bus, so the location was not an issue. We had all the amenities we needed, including A/C, good WiFi, drinkable water and coffee. Would definitely recommend the place for an awesome stay in Colon Island.
