Staying at the newly renovated DBP was incredible. We were welcomed to a private part of the island by Marcus, the owner—warm, gentle, and genuinely attentive—who made sure our stay exceeded expectations. 1. Location: This place is paradise. The views from the terrace are incredible. They have a beautiful garden which is very much jungle. It comes with lots of pretty birds, monkeys, sloths, fruits and flowers. It's also very quiet (besides the sound of nature). 2. Food: There's nothing about the food that could be improved. Breakfast was incredible, with lots of fruit, and so was every other meal I had. Judith really places a lot of importance on the quality of the ingredients. Considering the quality it comes at a very good price. Great juices and I in particular loved the homemade hot chocolate. 3. Hosts: Judith and Fabrice are so nice and friendly. And really went out of their way to make sure that I had a great time there. For example when I mentioned to Judith how much I loved her chocolate she made sure there was some for every meal. 4. Comfort: It really is hotel standard which I found astonishing given that they are in the jungle. Hot water, very clean room and bathroom, great bed. And it was all done by someone with really good taste. Each room also has a lovely terrace with comfortable chairs and hammock and great view.

The hotel was well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The food was excellent and the staff did a great job. The view of the ocean and the islands were a welcome change from the cold and snow. The hotel is located close to many shops, restaurants and other amenities.

Cute little bungalow over the water - we stayed for one night and it was a nice little getaway from the mainland- privacy but close and easy to get water taxis elsewhere - enjoyed our stay and they offer breakfast in the morning for all the guests

We loved Ceci our amazing host and Pancho the little crocodile. Also the sea view common kitchen, upstairs chill pad with hammock and yoga deck but Ceci really was the best!!

Clean and cute place. Staff is very friendly! We were let in the room before check in -time. Our room had a huge balcony. There is a fridge and books for guests. In a walking distance from the airport and city center.
