My stay at this hotel was nothing short of spectacular. Right from the start, I was greeted with the kind of hospitality that makes a traveler feel genuinely welcomed. The staff here are not just friendly; they go out of their way to ensure every guest feels special and well cared for. One of the most notable aspects of this hotel is its cleanliness. Every corner, from the lobby to the rooms, was spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The hotel's garden is a true oasis. Beautifully landscaped and meticulously kept, it offered a tranquil space to relax and unwind. The care put into maintaining this area is commendable. A really lovely apartment in Chivay. Walking distance to the bus terminal and also to the central square. It's such a lovely little town and staying in this apartment was great - we bought ingredients from the market and cooked it up. A wonderful stay. Also echo what others are saying re: hardness of the beds but they are not unsleepable!

Big rooms, and kitchen with everything you need- as described. Located close to the Plaza de Armas and main streets of town. We enjoyed a lovely walk to the bridge, ruins and mirradors and took advantage of the fresh local produce to cook our own food. We’re travelling on a budget so this place was perfect. Alely was an incredible host! Super friendly, very responsive on WhatsApp (this is how pretty much everything seems to be done in Peru- even booking activities and buses). Alely stored our bags for the 3 days while we did the Cañon del Colca walk (we stayed here at the start and end of our trip due to catching the 4M bus directly to Cusco so we didn’t have to go back via Arequipa). When we came back our bags were ready and waiting for us. I would have loved to spend an extra night here to acclimatise as it is a lot higher than Arequipa and you will feel it. Overall we had a great time and felt very comfortable and at home.

Beautiful hotel in a dreamy setting. Food was incredible, the spa was the best I’ve been to, all staff members super helpful and nice. A fee complimentary activities such as pisco sour lesson and feeding alpacas were great to have. The size of the room, the cleanliness and attention to detail top notch!

The room was very comfortable, spacious and cozy with a dining table and two chairs, private bathroom with shower. The room was quite cold, but there were warm blankets. The only serious disadvantage is the lack of mosquito nets and despite of the cold weather there are plenty of mosquitos. Breakfast is scrambled eggs with tea, jam, mango juice and coffee americano. There is free parking available and tea and coffee at reception as a compliment to hotel guests.

I stayed here because the hotel included on the tour I was on was absolutely abysmal (think thick mould, water running down the walls, filth trodden into the carpet). I booked here instead last minute and it couldn't have been more different or better. Spotlessly clean, warm water, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff on reception and at breakfast. Soooooooo glad I made the change.. Ask your tour company to put you up here or else check very carefully where they might put you. Come here instead. Here is great.
