What a wonderful off grid experience. Staying with Joel and Luzy is a must do! They are fabulous hosts and make your stay so easy and memorable. They have 3 rooms and we enjoyed a 2 night stay in the larger family room. The beds are super comfy, loads of blankets and a hotwater bottle is delivered after dinner. Room has a gas heater too but we didn’t use it. There is lots of furniture inside and out to relax on. Luzy cooks a great breakfast of fruit and juice, coffee and omelettes with avocado . We ate dinner there both nights. The food is simple home cooked , tasty and fresh. I am gluten free and Luzy accommodated me brilliantly. There was always a thermos of hotwater on request for making tea and coffee. They even had a bottle of wine to sell to us. Joel transfers from the mainland to and from the island and we also did a 2 hour tour around the Uros Island community. Joel was knowledgeable and showed us the best highlights. While I have eluded to off grid it should be noted that you are on a floating island!! There is a compost loo and shower water is from the lake and solar heated. There is no wifi but my own data worked well.

Mama Lea, Papa Mario and Ivan were amazing. Such an incredible experience with the most loving and passionate people we met in Peru. Food was freshly cooked by mama Lea and the tour with the explanation of the culture and traditions of the uros people from papa Mario was amazing. Mama lea made sure we were warn at night being the winter and provided hot water bottles. These were a luxury as we were not cold with all the comfy blankets in the incredible room with views to die for. Muchas gracias mama lea y papa Mario

The location is amazing, the room is comfortable and the breakfast's great. Also the staff was extremely helpful and friendly: we arrived at 6 AM and they allowed an early check in for us so that we could rest. They also provided me a laundry service that was perfect. Thank you!

This hotel is a great place to stay and I'd really recommend here. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough to help you. The hotel is on a slight hill so the views of Lake Titicaca can be seen from the rooms at the front of the hotel. The breakfast is buffet style and scrambled eggs made to order. The breakfast sets you up for the day ahead. There is a roof terrace so you can see the views of Puno and the Lake. The rooms have all you need and the bed was very comfy, we slept very well. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The hotel can also recommend any trips you'd like to do in the area and will give you details of the area too. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
