11 out 10. Unbelievable good hote. Perfectly clean, amazing food and well maintained scooters available. Located within a cute local village. Very few options of restaurant and pubs but super authentic local environment. Perfect base Camp to discover the Northern part of the Island. We did a day trip to Coron town, but were happy to be back at this nice little and quiet hotel since Coron itself is just too busy and dirty. Would definetly stay there again.

Everything was wonderful! The hosts and the staff are extremely welcoming, accommodating, and make you feel like home. The food is great and the views from the cafe and swimming pool are stunning. You can tell how everything has been done with some much love and dedication. I've travelled a lot in the Philippines and without a doubt I can say this has been my favourite place to stay! I highly highly recommend it. Thank you for everything Tess and Marcel :)

The staff, the tranquility, and the views. The staff were absolutely wonderful and made our stay so much fun. They cooked some incredible food for us (freshly cooked seafood was the best!) and helped us with any questions about where to go and what to do. Scooter hire is necessary to do anything other than relax at the resort or take paid tours from the resort.

We had a lovely stay here! The staff welcomed us warmly when we arrived and took care of us so well! They helped store ice for my fiance’s diabetes insulin, and had laundry service available as well as airport transfer! Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable! The resturant next to the hotel had amazing food, as well as staff! We ate most of our meals there! Location wise the hotel is in a more quet town, but we loved how peaceful it was! And it is easy and affordable to do day trips! A nice trip we made was to Ocam Ocam Beach! Recommend! In total, we had a great time and would definitely recommend! Hopefully we will be back someday!

Can’t go wrong with this one. It was a last minute decision for us. Stayed 5 nights and it was the best possible choice we could have made. The Manageress Mam Rap was very responsive, friendly and professional. She didn’t hesitate to resolve any of our various requests from needing to get toothpaste to after- sun cream. Her team was so helpful and made us feel very welcome and cared for. The location is excellent. It’s private, with insanely beautiful views and so much to do!! If you don’t want to adventure, then cocktails by the pool or bar or restaurant are all set up beautifully for lounging with stunning scenery of the cove. Our waiter Alan served us for a private romantic dinner and also hiked our food up to the cabin for room service multiple times with a big smile :) and lastly our wonderful Guide JR made for the most adventurous and safe excursions diving and hiking and paddle boarding. Please do check him out. Friendly, energetic and knowledgeable. The team at MDS are really excellent and it was very hard for us to leave. Thank you so much xxx

I can not recommend BBL enough, the location and view is out of this world. The rooms are large, well maintained and super clean. All the food was great. The staff helped me in so many ways going the extra mile.

The Ocam Ocam cottage was located right next to the beach beautiful location. With access to Black island and the ability to do island hopping. The room was clean with a shared bathroom & shower provided with a mosquito protector. The facilities were great with 2 restaurants nearby the owner she was very friendly and accommodating (I had checked out a bit later) she did not charge me extra and offered for me to stay at her uncles as my pick up was-in the late afternoon. A great community & stay.

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit,...

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping. If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home. Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February. To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.

I dont know why everyone goes to crowded Coron island while huge wild beautiful Busuanga is near. Its very big island, better to rent a motorbike to discover it. A lot of things to do, islands, giraffes, diving, beaches.

We liked Busuanga because it was relatively untouched by...

We liked Busuanga because it was relatively untouched by tourism. Where we stayed at Ocam Ocam there was a rural village community living along the beach. They were friendly and helpful and there was one restobar on the beach. The beach wasn't busy - had a very relaxed feel. It would have been a drive to the nearest town but we liked being away from it all. The beach at Ocam Ocam was gorgeous, though not for swimming as it had a long shallow reef out to the sea. We didn't see a lot of Busuanga as a whole but it felt equally relaxed and rural away from big towns.

Lots of coral islands to visit, perfect for diving. Beautiful spots where you can spot turtles, small sharks in the distance, dugongs, stringrays... Of course, there's a lot of room for improvement on this small island, but it's still the Philippines.

The island is truly captivating, with lush nature and...

The island is truly captivating, with lush nature and unparalleled sea views. The people are very friendly and speak easy-to-understand English. Other small islands we visited, such as Black Island, are worth the full day's excursion alone. Prices are reasonable. They are extremely sensitive to tipping.

The weather during the rainy season was a bit mixed, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the incredible surroundings of Busuanga Island. Coron Island is a gem not to be missed during your stay in Busuanga.
