The hosts are incredibly loving and helpful. They were available at all times and made my stay unique. I felt very very comfortable ! The rooms are very clean and nicely furnished. You can sit on the balcony even when it rains. The homestay is in walking distance from the beach. A perfect base for exploring the area in Anda.

Booked 1 night,stayed 14 nights.Loved this place.I was at end of 6 month journey,I was looking for a affordable,friendly, quiet place, and this was it.The owner,and all staff,amazing people,will do everything to make u comfortable.The property over looking the ocean, beautiful, snorkeling is good,whale sharks,turtles,can be seen in area.Not much around area,as for night life or shopping,but they have scooter rentals.I loved my stay here,thank you for everything.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating. The manager's son even took the trouble to drive me to a restaurant, because I arrived by bicycle and didn't want to cycle to a restaurant in the dark. The manager and her son were both so friendly and lovely, I'm sorry I didn't have the time to take a picture with our bicycles! If I'm in the area I will definitely come here again. Very peaceful location and lovely mango trees. Felt quite local and authentic in the best way.

Very beautiful resort 3 minutes by walk from the beach. Staff is very nice and helpful, there is a free water for guests, parking lot and beautiful pool and restaurant. I liked it very much, it is very relaxing and beautiful place.

We are a South Indian family and found to the food in Philippines to be not to our taste except in J&R. Even my 3 year old kid enjoyed the food and being fed watching the waves. The food was excellent and the beach was gorgeous. Only had the opportunity to stay for 1 day, but I wish we had stayed longer. My wife had a massage and pedicure which she was very happy about.

We had a lovely stay at Viva la Rosa hotel, Simon and Rose were super welcoming and we spent some nice moments chatting with them. The rooms are brand new and very clean. The place opened recently and some things are still being put in place, but that didn’t impact our stay. The pool was great, the location too (Anda is far more interesting for a visit than Panglao) and we could rent a scooter from there directly to visit nearby towns and villages, as well as rice terraces and view points. Definitely recommend this place!

The Dive Resort described in the advertisement did not exist...

The Dive Resort described in the advertisement did not exist. There were no diving equipment nor could you rent at any location nearby. We were lied to and took daily trips to town. The SCUBA equipment never arrived. The barameter was steady the entire time we stayed. We finally cut our strangle hold the motel had on us as we spent almost $10,000.00 coming from Florida USA. I didn’t know it takes a day and a half to get to the closest sea port to spend 5 more hours plus taxi time to get to the Lahoy. I will visit the beautiful island but not with the same operator of a crappy motel on potentially beautiful ocean view. That amenity came from up above and was the only perk. Just beware of scammers with old pictures of their run down facility. Do your research on your own and demand new pictures. Look at the meta data on the photo. It cannot be edited. Sorry. I’m still annoyed we got financially abused and wasted a week. Sad part is we left early because all I have reviewed is true. The owner is not all there and can be read in her replies to what I wrote. I wish the place was like the old photos she provided. They were from her tenant whom leased the place. She thought she could end their lease reaping the benefits of what the tenant built. Just a scam based on the property of what it was and what it is not today. Cheers and be careful.
