The most important things to do here its the underground river located in a cave about 2h drive away from the hotel by van to the National park. Also its nice to travel down the south for Balabac but I personally picked North up to El Nido for more Island Hoppings.

Need to have more efficient traffic management during peak hours. The LGU should improve, sustain and maintain infrastructure esp the port and the walkway.. When we went to the port to buy streetfood the stalls are sitting in rough ground and very muddy after rain. It is not good to see for visitors to walk around and wondering where tourism tax are spent for? More people will have a fruitful stay in the city if the place is worth staying for few more days befire heading to E Nido and other popular places..

We did the underground river tour.

We did the underground river tour. It was rainy but still worth it. It was one of the most unique experience for us to see how the river caves formed and all the different stalagtites and stalagmites formation Other attractions we would probably like to see is Honda Bay.

We didnt spend a lot of time in the Puerto itself sadly, given our resort was 90 minutes away but we made a couple of day trips and Puerto seems more relaxed & laid back than most cities in the Philippines with plenty of activities.

Worst public ride rates, not regulated, mostly a rip-off. The streets are unsafe with so many potholes, no street cleaners to keep the dust away. I appreciate the vehicles stopping when a person crosses the street.

The only point of living in this town is to take a tour of the underground river. The city itself is not made for people, and especially not for tourists. The only tourist street is Rizal Street, there are a few nice restaurants there, and that's it - there is nothing else to do in the city, nowhere to walk.

Canvas Boutique Hotel offers a delightful stay with its artistic ambiance, excellent service, and convenient location that's just across the airport. I used the reservation mainly to ensure I get to my flight on time as I was flying from Puerto Princesa to Boracay. I was enchanted by the artistic decoration of the hotel and my room. Plus the restaurant at the hotel is a good place to unwind and catch a deliciously prepared meal (roasted chicken, san miguel light, blueberry cheesecake. The attendant was very courteous and hospitable.

We travel a LOT in Southeast Asia and this is a fab hotel - nice pool - lovely staff all smiling and genuinely nice - looks like has had some refurbishment since negative reviews in past. Room was very big, with a separate living area. The hotel has a nice garden and once the swimming pool is completed it will be amazing. Staff is very nice. Internet was strong but it goes off when there is a power cut (which is common in Puerto Princesa) and the hotel does not have a generator. I would say it is a great value for money place.

My friend's and my luggage had not arrived in Puerto Princesa due to some airline fault. The staff was super helpful and we got it back the next day (with some hussle but they really assisted us beyond any help you would expect from a hotel). We also booked a tour to the underground river. Was super easy to book.
