Ocean Green Eco Lodge was our first stop in Palawan/the Philippines. The place is quite remote, but has anything you can possibly need and more. Only 3 bungalows on the property, fingerlickin' good food made daily from fresh and local ingredients, and breathtaking views to enjoy all day long from your balcony or the infinity pool up the hill. What the owners have created is simply a little slice of paradise. You'll never want to leave.

Our arrival was late so we needed a place not far from the airport so we can continue our journey the next day but the hotel was so awesome we spent the entire 7days there. There is a mall next to the hotel so your shopping, dinner options and local community is just a walk away. Friendly staff, Chen from the bar gave us tour tips. Facilities and rooms were always clean and maintained. Gym, pool, bar!

Peacefully located in the jungle, the room design is amazing. We are a family travelling with 3 kids and it was just the perfect setting for us. An amazing view from the room and the restaurant and the staff was really helpful.

The most important things to do here its the underground...

The most important things to do here its the underground river located in a cave about 2h drive away from the hotel by van to the National park. Also its nice to travel down the south for Balabac but I personally picked North up to El Nido for more Island Hoppings.

Need to have more efficient traffic management during peak hours. The LGU should improve, sustain and maintain infrastructure esp the port and the walkway.. When we went to the port to buy streetfood the stalls are sitting in rough ground and very muddy after rain. It is not good to see for visitors to walk around and wondering where tourism tax are spent for? More people will have a fruitful stay in the city if the place is worth staying for few more days befire heading to E Nido and other popular places..

We did the underground river tour.

We did the underground river tour. It was rainy but still worth it. It was one of the most unique experience for us to see how the river caves formed and all the different stalagtites and stalagmites formation Other attractions we would probably like to see is Honda Bay.

We didnt spend a lot of time in the Puerto itself sadly, given our resort was 90 minutes away but we made a couple of day trips and Puerto seems more relaxed & laid back than most cities in the Philippines with plenty of activities.

Worst public ride rates, not regulated, mostly a rip-off. The streets are unsafe with so many potholes, no street cleaners to keep the dust away. I appreciate the vehicles stopping when a person crosses the street.

The only point of living in this town is to take a tour of the underground river. The city itself is not made for people, and especially not for tourists. The only tourist street is Rizal Street, there are a few nice restaurants there, and that's it - there is nothing else to do in the city, nowhere to walk.

We were almost the only ones there so we had a privat pool. The food was great although it was a bit hard to order due to bad english language knowledge. They have really put a lot of effort into food preparation. We have walked to Bakers hills - nice place for kids. Stuff was very friendly. We were picked up for Underground river tour from hotel and the taxi to airport was easily arranged at hotel and cheap as well. Perfect for short stay in Puerto Princesa.

We had a great time staying at Casa Belina. We were very well taken care of as if we were the only visitor. We felt special as they are very warm and meticulous in their service. Plus the owner is very kind and took time to get to know us. The hotel itself is very clean and near to everthing like the malls, transpo, banks, restos. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to puerto princesa. Big thanks to all the staff!! God bless you all!

The staff were efficient and effective. We stayed for 2 nights and then later 1 night before an early flight and gave us a boxed breakfast. The rooftop pool was lovely with plenty of lounges and a bar/restaurant. Rooms were double-glazed which made them very quiet. Hotel is near the supermarket and organised a tour of Puerto Princesa, the fireflies and the Underground River.
