The hotel is very stylish and located in a beautiful area. There’s convenient parking right in front of the building. The charming owner personally served us breakfast - it was absolutely delightful! The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, the room was spotless and tastefully decorated. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again.

What a pleasant surprise to be met and greeted by a manager upon arrival. From the car park to our room we were given a brief tour of the property and explained all dos and don’ts by a lovely man (shame I do not remember his name, apologies). The property is really roomy yet cosy and well laid out. Our room on 2nd floor was really spacious with high ceilings. Exuipped and decorated to a high standard. Toilet/ shower room was clean. Kitchen/ diner well equipped and with a nice big table. Really nice period decor throughout the property. Location of the property is really convenient for both sightseeing the town itself as well as going for hops outside.

We were accomodated in the wooden summerhouse on the lake. It was better than expected. All nice and clean. Comfy beds. Late arrival was not an issue for the owners, they live nearby. We will for sure consider staying here again in the future. Thanks.

We liked everything at this property! Convenient location; spacious, functional clean and beautiful rooms, kitchen and bathroom. Excellent patio with a view to vineyard. Parking. Free WiFi . Pets welcome! The dinner at restaurant with Luca wine was fantastic!!! And very welcoming staff. Highly recommended!

Bogatynia is considered the capital of Upper Lusatian half-timbered houses, and indeed, there are plenty of them there, some meticulously restored, others somewhat dilapidated, but all worth seeing. It can also be a great base for trips to neighboring Czech Republic and Germany.

The guesthouse is tastefully and lovingly furnished.

The guesthouse is tastefully and lovingly furnished. The staff are very polite, courteous, and welcoming. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were outstanding, plentiful, and second to none. We would gladly return and have already been asked by others where the guesthouse is. It's an ideal base for hiking and cycling tours.

The city offers a surprising number of positives.

The city offers a surprising number of positives. Many of the Upper Lusatian half-timbered houses for which Bogatynia is famous are being beautifully revitalized, though not all of them. Żytawska Street is currently undergoing renovation. The city has an interesting history. It's an excellent base for trips to the Czech Republic and Germany. The border triangle is nearby.

We came to this town just to spend the night.

We came to this town just to spend the night. We were not really impressed with this border location, there is nothing here that we should or would like to visit. We were advised not to park on the street until morning, as they say there is a high crime rate. The town is a bit shabby, outdated, the river smelled quite unpleasant. We probably wouldn't recommend it as a tourist destination, but we were very satisfied with the accommodation and the restaurant.

A town with a potentially large tourist potential (at the meeting point of three borders), but apparently untapped so far... You must definitely see the renovated Żytawska Avenue with its beautiful half-timbered houses, of which there are many throughout the town, unfortunately some of them are in ruins (probably the effects of the flood in 2010).

It is difficult to evaluate the destination, the wide surrounding area is influenced by brown coal mining and the related energy industry. But logically, such regions attract workers and it is very pleasant when people can live well and eat well, and enjoy a rest after work.
