But the organization of the streets and traffic - quite poor, potholes in the road, traffic jams, chaotic, confusing roads - it seems that this is a legacy of old roads, an attempt was made to modernize them - but this does not correspond at all to today's traffic conditions... I enjoyed the audio tours of the National Museum in Kielce where I learned about the history of Kielce as well as got to admire the art of Polish artists. I also walked the trails near the GeoPark. Kielce is definitely worth visiting.
Kielce is definitely worth visiting. Neighbourhood is full of history and hidden gems like : open air old Holy Cross village museum -Tokarnia , ruins of one of the biggest of the time castles in Europe - Ujazd/Krzyżtopór , ruins of important iron rolling mill from XIX century- Nietulisko , Oblęgorek , Holy Cross walk and Cistercian Order and many more. You will find water parks within , nature parks and reserves . Sandomierz is a beautiful historical town included in UNESCO heritage list. The kitchen was well equipped, including cleaning supplies, there are books and games even. Very easy to walk to the store, easy for Uber to pick up, parking if you need it. Definitely would stay here again if I get to go back to Kielce. The hosts are super friendly, easy to contact and getting into the apartment was a breeze.
