A small, charming town that is unfortunately becoming deserted. Many abandoned and decaying buildings. You'll rarely see anyone strolling, whether in the morning or on a weekend evening. A peaceful and quiet place for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's also an ideal base for trips to Karpacz and the Czech Republic.

There's not much to do in the town itself, at least in the...

There's not much to do in the town itself, at least in the summer, but it's a good base for exploring the Karkonosze Mountains. Among the places worth visiting is the Liczyrzepa Uranium Mine. It's an interesting place and you can learn a bit about the history of Kowary.

A beautifully situated town, much less known than Karpacz, with a beautiful state town and interesting architecture. It's a great base for exploring the surrounding castles and mountain walks. I recommend it because I think it's worth seeing.

Anyone expecting to go out in the evening and enjoy the beautiful Old Town, perhaps enjoying a restaurant or café, will likely be disappointed. Everything closes around 6:30-7:00 PM. It's a shame, because the city's atmosphere encourages relaxation in the picturesque Old Town. I recommend the excellent dinners at the "Cicha" restaurant.

A charming, quiet town.

A charming, quiet town. In recent years, the town has invested in cleaning up neglected areas. The reservoir area has been revitalized. The bridges and footbridges over the river along the Old Town have been enhanced. There are plenty of places to stroll, enjoy a good coffee with a snack, or grab a bite to eat.

A beautiful, underrated city in the region.

A beautiful, underrated city in the region. It boasts two landscape parks, numerous hiking trails, a good selection of restaurants, and a small but beautiful old town. The city is clearly developing, and there's plenty to do, especially on nice days!

We had a really pleasant stay. The apartment is modern, big, clean and very comfortable. Beautiful garden around the house. No noise whatsoever from the other apartment in the same building. Karpacz and Kowary can be reached by car within minutes. The main road is quite busy. But the apartment is well isolated and just far enough from the road to not be bothered by it (even in the garden).

At first glance, when you look at the pictures everything looks very beautiful. The hotel is really located in a stunningly beautiful, quiet place, surrounded by forest, from the restaurant you can go to the terrace overlooking the pond and the forest. I give the breakfasts a 10 out of 10, very tasty and a great choice.

The house has some separate entries. It's very comfortable to stay with family or as a couple. Fully equipped. You can have a BBQ or play in the backyard. The street is very quiet and comfortable + with mountains view. A big store is 2 mins away by car. Also, you can walk in the nice city center of Kowary.

I really liked location. The whole district belongs to the town Kowary, but it's actually more like a village. It is simply wonderful for the holidays with family. The house itself is very comfortable, is bigger than what I thought it would be from the pictures and it has everything what you need inside.
