An immediate feeling of safety when walking the city day or night... young ladies safely jogging on their own.. marvellous to see. Traffic very respectful of pedestrians crossing at designated crossings... lovely to see young school children in a walking bus formation.. in no fear.. and smile's and laughter. Very welcoming people and just loved their fashion.. age appropriate.. and stylish. Uber and public transport so punctual.. Would definitely head back there soon.

A wonderful city. Walking around is always a great option.

A wonderful city. Walking around is always a great option. There is so much to see. If you like sweets and coffee, you will find plenty of them to indulge in. There are restaurants of all kinds, street vendors, and beautiful starred restaurants to eat at. The public trams are easy to ride. Don't miss exploring the numerous churches, which are stunning works of art and expressions of faith. The castle and the dragon are not to be missed. You can walk and see many incredible sights, all for free. There are also many paid tours for all budgets.

Beautiful city with lots of history to unravel.

Beautiful city with lots of history to unravel. Great places to eat and drink and all reasonably priced. A good variety of shops too if that is more your thing. However, the people are what makes the city - utterly charming, courteous and kind. Highly recommend.

Krakow is an amazing place to visit.

Krakow is an amazing place to visit. The buildings are original and historic. We felt very safe as we walked around and everyone spoke English so it was easy to find the sights. We visited Auschwitz and the Salt Mines with Mr Shuttle tour company which was a long day but very worthwhile and great if you want to fit both in. We walked to Wawel Castle and the Cathedral (climbed the bell tower) and saw the dragon and we were based on the Main Square so we visited St Mary's basilica, Eros Head, Cloth Hall and we booked direct for a guided tour of Schindlers Factory and then walked to Hero's Square and then on to the Jewish Ghetto and saw the Church on the Rock and 'Schindlers Passage' from the film.

The old town is really pretty with loads to see.

The old town is really pretty with loads to see. There are food options and bars everywhere, all of high quality, if a little more expensive than you might imagine (the old town is maximum tourist spot). The big draw for us was a trip to Auschwitz, but we also wanted to chill out somewhere nice with tons of character and that's what Krakow offers.

The location is exceptionally good being out of the crush around the main square but within easy walking distance or short tram ride of the city centre. There are numerous restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood, a couple of excellent ones within 50m of the hotel front door. The 24-hour reception desk is a bonus for a small hotel, making our late night arrival easier than dealing with door codes and key boxes, etc.

Amazing vegan concept hotel just outside of krakow old town. About 15 minutes leisurely walk to centre. Staff were so lovely and accommodating. Plenty of facilities to use. Towels and basic toiletries provided. Great coffee and vegan snacks available to buy. Amazing plant based bakery just next door. We’d love to stay again! Special thanks to Sylvia who was so lovely to us during our stay.

Excellent location, right in the centre of the main square , while we were there the krakow marathon was taking place right outside the hotel the start/finish line , but this did not effect our stay, The staff were very helpful and nothing was a problem , lots of fabulous restaurants within walking distance.
