I recommend. Very good apartments. Freshly renovated, comfortable beds, clean. The owner, believe me, helped with the check-in, we drove 28 hours across Europe, were very tired, check-in time was at 15:00, asked the owner to check in earlier, as we really wanted to sleep, she quickly put everything in order, prepared everything and at 10:00 we were already asleep. Special thanks to the owner.

Monuments: Żary Town Hall, Telemann's Bench, a well, city walls, a watchtower, and a palace. The Silesian-Lusatian Borderland Museum is worth a visit—I recommend it. We dined at the Pokusa bar—friendly service, delicious food. We had coffee and a delicious, large dessert—DOLCE VITA.

World War II and the communist era took their toll, but the city's care for its most valuable and preserved heritage is evident. It's just a shame that the main exit from the train station into the city resembles a garbage dump.

The city is definitely worth a short trip.

The city is definitely worth a short trip. There are many cycle paths and a large old castle, which is currently being renovated and therefore cannot be visited. There are plenty of shopping opportunities. Unfortunately, there's a bit of a lack of restaurants, but it's sufficient for those who prefer simple meals. We will certainly go there again, but never stay at that accommodation again.

The tower with the horse's head is worth seeing.

The tower with the horse's head is worth seeing. It's clear they're trying very hard to accommodate tourists (signs with descriptions). Unfortunately, the town was quite dilapidated about 70 years ago. They're currently renovating what they can. The food is a bit poor (mostly kebabs, etc.).

A small town, very close to the German border.

A small town, very close to the German border. I go there because my granddaughter lives there. Neat and clean, well-organized with a lovely park. Nice bus stops, well-maintained streets, shops, and useful services. However, it's not a place to go on vacation.

This is a very old build, renovation... not in alla the room and not really intensive, concerning the service was OK: also when in Poland have a diner after 20:00 is impossilbe, people prepared for us something to eat at 9:00. Hotel is very cheap for Europe standard, but the quality is allineed to the cost.
