Very clean (like new), spacious, comfortable accommodation.Beautiful views of nature. Fully equipped kitchen. No other guests were there so it was quiet. If you have no transport, supermarkets and decent restaurants are just 20 minutes walk away. Bus stops are very close with a reliable hourly bus service ( Koniakow- Istebna- Wisla- Ustron- Cieszyn )

It was our second stay at Złoty Groń Resort & Spa and I must say we were looking forward to return. The breakfast selection is probably the best we ever had in any hotel and we've been around a lot of places in Europe and the US. Delicious meals on the lunch and dinner menu as well. Friendly staff, we even received a welcome drink during check out this time. Spacious room, this time we even had a big balcony. Nice and clean bathroom. We also enjoyed the spa, the sauna and pools both indoors and outdoor. We have an electric car and even though this time the parking was under construction and we could not charge the same way like last year the staff was helpful and found a way for us so we could charge our car.

A sleepy town at the tip of Poland.

A sleepy town at the tip of Poland. Easy access by train, with the option of onward travel to Slovakia. It can be quite busy in the season. About 2 kilometers from the center, there's the super Kraczma Swojskie Klimaty. Nearby are cottages for rent and a ski lift.

Beautiful surroundings, peace and quiet.

Beautiful surroundings, peace and quiet. The complete lack of decent dining options (one inn in Rachowiec) drives tourists to other towns. The area around the train station is intimidating. The tourist trails are marked only moderately, but the idea with the benches is excellent. This is a place for hikers who don't like crowds and don't expect local entertainment.

Zwardoń is a very quiet and peaceful town right on the border with Slovakia. It's easy to get there by train (several departures daily from Katowice). From here, you can plan some great trips using the Slovak Railways (Zwardoń - Cadca). From Zwardoń itself, you can also take a trip to places like Rachowiec, Kikula, Barania Góra, or Wielka Racza. It's an ideal destination for those who don't like crowds.

A small village nestled in a secluded mountain setting, it's perfect for those who enjoy mountain hiking and want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. I recommend climbing Mount Rachowiec – at the top, there's a viewing platform offering a beautiful panorama (as seen in the attached photo).

Zwardoń is quiet and sleepy.

Zwardoń is quiet and sleepy. Only for connoisseurs of peace and quiet. A great starting point for trips to Wielka Racza, for example. You can make a nice loop from the Beskids to Sol and return through Wielki Rachowiec, enjoying the local atmosphere along the way.

A beautiful location in the Beskid Mountains.

A beautiful location in the Beskid Mountains. Stunning panoramas, especially from the top of Rachowiec. Good rail access – less so by car due to the missing section of the S1 (traffic jams near Węgierska Górka). Good food at the "Swojskie Klimaty" inn. Two grocery stores, one at the border terminal, but no bakery. No ATM.
