The staff was wonderful! They gave us a beautiful tour of the property when we arrived, showing us the concept behind the hotel - the blending of art and history (Artsy). They were extremely accommodating for every request. The daily breakfast that was included exceeded my expectations in every way. My friend is gluten intolerant which I had specified when we made the reservation, and the server who took care of us at breakfast appeared with fresh-baked gluten-free bread, which was totally unexpected. The location was superb - right on the bike path, right on the water, and around the corner from the shopping and restaurants. It was all impressive, but the staff members were what set this property apart for me. When they discovered that I was departing early in the morning, they prepared me a box lunch so that I could have breakfast on the ride to the airport. Such a thoughtful touch. 10/10!

I have stayed a lot at the hotel during late 90s when I was working in the Lisboa area. When I have ended my working life I have visit the Hotel with my wife during the last 5 years. We have since 5 years apartment in Lagos, Algarve and every time we go up to the Lisboa area we try to stay at the hotel because we like the hotel so much and all that the hotel has to offer. This time we visit Sintra/Cascais and had a short stop on the way home in Lisboa. We always feel that we are welcome back at the hotel.
