Very nice hotel with beautiful views. We stayed in a junior suite with was very comfortable with huge bathroom and private balcony. Very good bed and spacious room. Staff was welcoming and trough out our 3 night stay attentive. Great area for hiking our just relaxing at the large outdoor pool. Food in the restaurant was very good and affordable. We were very happy to choose this accommodation in rural Portugal.

Deolinda is a wonderful and welcoming host who made sure we felt at home from the moment we arrived. She greeted us warmly, gave us a tour of the house, and even had the wood stove running in advance—a thoughtful gesture, especially since temperatures were close to zero at night despite it being mid-March. The house itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated with charming details like fresh flowers on the towels. We also appreciated the bowl of sweets and fruits she had prepared, which added a lovely touch to our stay. The rooms were cozy, tastefully decorated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated Deolinda's hospitality and attention to detail. We would happily return!

The place is magical. The lady host looks to help and make the stay comfortable. Most important to ask for the exact location on the google map. The nearest cofe/restaurant/grocery is 10 min. drive. There is a nespreso coffe machinr- bring your coffe with you.

Really friendly staff and clean, upscale accommodations. I love that they are dog friendly and were really welcoming to our dogs. We stayed in one of the rooms with the large balconies and that was very open and spacious. The breakfast is amazing. Lots of praia fluvials in that area and some really nice nature trails. Visit the local market next door for some treats or the campisimo across the street on the river.

Cristina was an amazing host. Very friendly and courteous. Every morning for breakfast, we enjoyed a basket with a variety of local products, that was brought to our door. We were also able to make requests at any time, which were dealt with immediately and got really nice recommendations of what to do in the area. The flat is located right by the stream and is perfect if you want to spend a peaceful and relaxing time in the nature. There is also a goat farm right next door, which can be visited, and the view from the apartment as well as the surrounding area is incredible beautiful. We were also able to use the bikes at any time, but a car is still recommended for travelling to the nearby villages and especially the nature reserve, which can both be reached in around 30 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay at Be Alva and would always come back!

Beautiful hotel in a quiet village surrounded by the most spectacular scenery. There are lovely gardens around the property and a very nice swimming pool. The interior is very well appointed with lots of nooks & crannies filled with bric-a-brac! Staff were very welcoming. The food was very good, breakfast buffet was plentiful, dinner choices, although limited in selection, were delicious.

Beautiful modern design with a spectacular view across the valley from a floor to ceiling glass wall Design included many well executed construction details. Great tapas for supper and excellent breakfast in the cozy restaurant upstairs. Nice wood pellet stove to take the chill of in the restaurant. Very hospitable owner/ staff. Aldeia das Dez is a very scenic stone mountain village .

The lady that runs the hotel was super sweet and helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable - it was quite cold when we went and the room was really warm. The breakfast was amazing and really reasonably priced, as were the tapas that are available later in the day. Would 1000% recommend!
