Wonderful clean views to the Alqueva lake! Surprising architecture, cozy common spaces. Comfortable and minimalist rooms with a private outdoor area. Helpful and friendly staff, ask and you will get it! Charge an electric car, a guide tour to the starry sky, binoculars to see the birds and bikes to wonder around!!!!

This property is in a league of its own, and if I could give it a higher rating than 10, I would. The property is located in the night sky reserve of Portugal, which is an area with minimal light pollution. We were very sad that we only reserved one night here, and are planning to come back here during our next visit in Portugal. If you get a change to stay here please do! The property is pretty big, but beautiful and unique. The rooms are amazing and the service is next level! The rooms are big and clean, and the amenities are plentiful. The employees are wonderful, extremely friendly and helpful! Additionally the property has some of the oldest olive trees, a beautiful infinity pool and a relax area where you can play on a billiard table or just relax. During the night you can lay on a sun bed and watch the stars. They also serve some food. During our stay the main restaurant was not open, but they are planning on opening it again. Breakfast was also great, and there was plenty of choice.

Central to key things I have wanted to see, like ‘Dark Night’. Central to town so dining out was easy The Wi-Fi was awesome I love the music mix of double glazed units and shutter units. Jose the owner was very helpful and polite Spotlessly clean and hearty breakfast I like the back door to the place. It saved me time

This place is exeptional! We enjoyed every second spending time there. It's on the edge of a little village right before the beautiful historic town of Monsaraz. The energy of this place is amazing, their love of animals, the positivity and the exquisite eye for details can be felt and seen in every corner. Their lounge area and breakfast are an experience not be missed. Not to mention their lovely pool. Hope we will be back soon. :)
