This is a new, comfortable, modest lodging with a purpose. "Rewilding Portugal" is involved with projects mostly in the Coa River valley. The location here in Vale de Madeira highlights the beauty of the natural landscape, and the acceptance of the Rewilding Center in the small village. The kitchen was especially nice. It allowed me to fix my own means (and clean up afterwards, of course), but it's big enough to serve events and large groups. Very well done, very well thought out facility. Good showers, good mini-split heater in my room. Very clean, with attentive staff.

Villages with charm and history are all around. The house is well-thought-out with modern charm in a well-kept traditional building. Very comfortable and cozy, with all you need to spend a few days away. Open space. Loved the tall ceiling and the mezzanine bedroom.
